The Northern Beaches Hospital features 14 state-of-the-art operating theatres in which we can provide elective and life-saving procedures for local patients, as they are needed.
Facilities include hybrid theatres (with a fixed X-Ray C-Arm) and cardiothoracic theatres. All are fitted with some of the best surgical equipment and technologies in Australia.

Surgical facilities - including a pleasant patient reception bay, the Day of Surgery Centre, and a 41-bed fully-monitored recovery unit - are situated together on the same floor. This allows for streamlined patient management as well as staff cohesion and additional learning opportunities.
