Expert Care for Your Recovery

If you or someone you care about is struggling with alcohol, drugs, or other substances, you're not alone.

At Northern Beaches Clinic, we offer compassionate, confidential, and expert care to support your recovery journey.

Whether you're seeking help for the first time or returning for continued support, our team is here to guide you every step of the way.

Our Programs

We understand that recovery is a personal journey. That's why we offer a range of programs tailored to meet your individual needs:

Inpatient Addiction Program

For many, the first step in recovery is safely managing withdrawal symptoms. Our inpatient detox program provides 24/7 medical supervision in a comfortable, supportive environment. This program is designed to help you safely and comfortably withdraw from substances, laying the foundation for long-term recovery.

Following detox, our inpatient addiction program offers a structured, therapeutic environment where you can focus on healing. Through individual and group therapy, you'll explore the underlying causes of substance misuse and develop coping strategies to maintain sobriety.

In our supportive and caring environment, we empower you to create a happier and healthier life. You’ll gain valuable tools to manage difficult emotions, cope with stress, and enhance communication. Our holistic approach also includes activities like exercise groups, yoga, mindfulness practice, nutrition education, and creative therapy, all aimed at supporting your overall well-being.

Your length of stay will be determined by your treating doctor.

Day Program (Outpatient)

Held weekly, our day program Preparing for Change includes group therapy sessions aimed at empowering you to continue your recovery journey and to help you build a life that feels meaningful and hopeful.

The Preparing for Change program supports you to:

  • Understand and address patterns of substance use and addiction using evidence-based treatment.
  • Nurture your self-compassion and kindness to overcome shame and guilt.
  • Develop helpful thoughts and beliefs to improve your quality of life.
  • Boost your self-esteem, confidence, and belief in your abilities.
  • Learn effective ways to cope with stressors and challenges.
  • Discuss personal concerns about alcohol or drug use in a safe, supportive, and confidential group setting.

This outpatient program can be joined at any time. You do not need to have had an inpatient hospital stay with us to access this or our other day programs, but a referral from your GP or psychiatrist is required.

Dual Diagnosis Support

We recognise that many individuals face both substance misuse and mental health challenges. Our team is experienced in treating dual diagnoses, providing integrated care that addresses both conditions simultaneously.
