If you’re struggling with alcohol, drug or substance misuse and haven’t been able to stop on your own, help is available at Northern Beaches Clinic.

Our experienced, caring team is committed to helping you get back on track – in a safe, discreet and welcoming environment.

We provide an inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program to support your recovery.

Most people start with our inpatient program and continue to our outpatient day program, which supports your long-term recovery.

Our holistic approach also includes activities like exercise groups, yoga, mindfulness practice, nutrition education, and creative therapy, all aimed at supporting your overall well-being. You’ll gain valuable tools to manage difficult emotions, cope with stress, and enhance communication.

If you don’t have private health insurance, talk to us about options such as self-funding your rehab program. Call us on (02) 9105 5340 or email NBclinic@healthscope.com.au for more information.

We’re a regulated mental health and rehab facility, accredited under The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS).

Inpatient program

Our inpatient program helps you gain insight into why you developed an alcohol or drug addiction by focusing on underlying behavioural and psychological factors. People with a dual-diagnosis of drug or alcohol problem and a mental health condition are welcome to participate in this program.

You will learn about the stages of change, what motivates you to change, and what to do to help your recovery.  You will develop your skills in regulating emotion, tolerating distress, improving interpersonal communication, preventing relapse, understanding triggers and managing urges and cravings. You will also be encouraged to approach recovery holistically with exercise, yoga, daily mindfulness practice, education about healthy eating and creative therapy. This program is ideal for those living with other addictions, including gambling, gaming, exercise, sex and social media.

Outpatient program

To increase the likelihood of your long-term recovery, you may be referred to our Preparing for change program at the end of your inpatient program (after you leave the Clinic). Attending this program is highly encouraged to maintain your gains and prevent relapse.

You can start this outpatient program at any time. The outpatient group therapy program runs each Tuesday from 9:00am to 2:00pm or Wednesday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
