Maternity Bookings
Booking as a private patient
As soon as you have chosen one of our obstetricians and had your pregnancy confirmed, BOOK IN HERE.
Your obstetrician does not book in for you.
You will need the following information:
- name of obstetrician
- reason for admission (pregnancy)
- health fund membership and policy details
- GP's details
- Emergency contact details
- Medications information
If you have any questions about booking, please telephone 9105 6015 and we will do our best to help.
Check with your health fund at least three months prior to your due date because you may need to add your baby to the fund prior to birth.
Booking as a public patient
As soon as your pregnancy is confirmed at 10 weeks pregnant, BOOK IN HERE.
You will need the following information:
- reason for admission (pregnancy)
- health fund membership and policy details
- GP's details
- Emergency contact details
Medications information
Two weeks after you are booked in, we will contact you with an appointment to attend our antenatal clinic, usually between 14 and 16 weeks of your pregnancy. At this appointment, please bring a referral from your GP for Dr Abirami Thevakumar or Dr Fernando Infante Torres, plus copies of blood tests and ultrasound reports.
