Working With Children Checks

Healthscope employees can transfer to other sites when moving within Australia.
Process:
1. View jobs across Australia here - https://careers.healthscope.com.au/

3. Contact Careers@healthscope.com.au for any questions
4. If successful for the role, both yourself and your current manager will need to sign a Change of Status (COS) form to action the change. The site the staff member (you) are moving to will complete any background checks and issue the new contract.
Starting a New Employee/ Orientation

Process:
- Manager and employee to fill in details and sign COS form and send to relevant executive to sign.
- Relevant executive to sign COS and send to nbhhr@healthscope.com.au
- NBH HR to create variation letter and send to General Manager, People & Culture for approval
- NBH HR to send approved COS and variation letter to employee to sign and send back to NBH HR.
- NBH HR to send completed COS and variation letter to Payroll for processing in the next pay run.
Important -
- Ensure effective date aligns with pay run.
- Include recruitment requisition number on the COS form for the below changes:
- Change in cost centre regardless of FT/PT/CAS status.
- Changes from casual to PT/FT.
- Change in cost centre regardless of FT/PT/CAS status.

Employees who have been linked to 6 week pay averaging will show up with the below code in Kronos: NBH-GRP1-NSE12-FT-RR.
New Starters - Managers please let Talent Acquisition know that they will be on 6 week pay averaging. TA will ensure this flows through to Payroll and Kronos.
Changes - Managers please use the most up to date COS form on this page and tick the "6 week pay averaging" box if relevant. Payroll will use this information to update Payroll and Kronos.
Referral Program
Refer a friend and receive a $500 Westfield voucher as a reward!
Good people know Good people! We are offering all NBH Staff the opportunity to receive a $500 Westfield Voucher by successfully referring a friend to NBH.
Terms:
· All candidates will undergo a merit based recruitment process, as per current recruitment practices.
· The reward will apply if the new employee accepts a permanent contract (min. 24 hrs/wk) and the new employee has a PDR in place; successfully completes their 6 month probation; and, successfully completes their 6 month performance review with their line manager.
· External referrals only

- Complete the online exit form (required to cut IT access on the final day & sends employee an online exit survey).
- Send Termination Notification Form to HOSP-NBHTerminations@healthscope.com.au with the termination letter.

Healthscope Online Learning
The Healthscope Company Induction online course is designed for new employees to complete, as part of their overall orientation to Healthscope. It is designed to complement each facility and workplace induction and orientation. The course includes a brief explanation of the many facets of the Healthscope business and the organisational structure. It also serves as a vehicle for delivering key corporate policies such as the Code of Conduct, Workplace Health and Safety and others.
The course is available via the Healthscope eLearning Centre, employees will need their Payroll Number and Healthscope password to login. Please consult with your local eLearning Site Administrator in order for the course to be assigned to the employees eLearning account.
Badges
Managers/Managers' delegates can order badges for their employees through the link. Orders are shipped every second Friday and will be delivered to the managers' ward/department within 1-2 weeks from the time of shipment.
Please click the link to order badges and include:
· Employee preferred name
· Manager name
· Ward/Department
Uniforms
New starters will automatically receive a link to order from our supplier, Workwear to order their uniforms.
Uniforms are shipped directly to the employee's home address.
If auniform is faulty or you require an exchange (size, style, etc), please contact Workwear directly and quote your invoice number. They will then send you a label which you can use to post the items back for an exchange at no extra cost.
At this stage, there is no recycling program for old uniforms.

Our benefits expos will be held in the atrium in May, August and October 2023. All providers will be onsite and all staff are welcome to attend.
