Medical Imaging

Lumus Imaging, the NBH Medical Imaging provider, is located on the Ground Floor and provides services to inpatients an outpatients. Services include general x-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), interventional imaging, mammography, nuclear medicine, and PET imaging. Whilst outpatient services operate within business hours, emergency inpatient services are available 24/7.

Billing:

• Lumus Imaging NBH is predominantly a bulk billing service but in some instances an out-of-pocket charges may apply.
• Most X-ray, CTs and nuclear medicine studies are bulk billed.
• Ultrasound, mammography, procedural and interventional radiology – incur small out of pocket charges.
• Medicare rebates available on our 3T MRI for specialist referrals and GP referrals with rebateable clinical criteria.
